Real Estate Training and Education Center is teaming up with Roane State Community College and the Cumberland Business Incubator to offer Pre-License & New Affiliates courses, which are both required, to become eligible to take the Tennessee State exam to obtain your real estate license. These courses will take place over three weeks.
WORC grant funding may be available to pay for these courses.
This project is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission. It’s time for our Spring Open House for Roane State Community College Cumberland Campus! This includes the academic building, the Cumberland Business Incubator, and the Maker Space. Check out both buildings and take the opportunity to meet our staff, volunteers, and tenants; get information about college courses – be sure to ask about Tennessee Reconnect, Dual Enrollment, and Middle College; Workforce Development, Maker Space, or other classes that are offered; learn what we do to help small businesses at the CBI – including the WORC grant that can help pay for classes and trainings; and enjoy refreshments – at each building! (The CBI will be having delicious cookies provided by the sweet ladies from the Cumberland County School Nutrition Program!)

Work with acrylic, wood, paper, cardboard, leather, etc. Using graphic software like Inkscape, cut intricate designs and engrave highly detailed images at the touch of a button. Whether you want to use this for hobbies or to help with a business idea, the sky is the limit with this simple and versatile tool!
Once you successfully pass this class, you can use this equipment for creating your own projects at the CBI Maker Space as a member during open volunteer hours for only $5/day, $20/month, or $10/month if you are a student.
