It’s fair to say that at the Cumberland Business Incubator we do “something different every day.” As examples, a few things that have occurred recently:
We hosted:
- A new technology Open House with 3D printer owners showing the community their printers and products
- An Ask-The-Experts Day
- A Search Engine Optimization workshop by TSBDC
We provided business coaching to:
- An inventor who has a patent pending on his product but has not formalized his marketing plan or how to go from concept to a viable business
- A couple who are within 5 years of exiting their business who realize they need to formalize an exit strategy
- A multi-generation family with multiple ideas of new businesses they would like to tie together, to help them formulate the steps from concept to business plan
- A 15 year old business to identify areas for their growth and the training we could provide for them
- A transplanted business to help brainstorm connections to build their business in their new area
We provided executive coaching to:
- An executive who is being considered for a promotion but needs the rough edges polished a bit first
- A newly promoted manager who needs help going from a team member to the team leader
- A business owner who knows he needs help becoming the visionary leader of the organization

- Receptionist to meet, greet and seat guests
We listen to the needs of the business community and develop the programs and services you read about in our newsletter.
