ShopBot: Safety & Basic Use

In this Safety and Basic Use (SBU) class, learn to use the computer-controlled (CNC) ShopBot router to cut objects, parts or art designed in 2D or 3D CAD. Create parts with complex curves and surfaces from most woods, plastics, foams, and other composites. Completed Candy Dish Class Fee: $15 Project: Wooden sign Prerequisites: None, CAD design and woodworking knowledge a plus! Equipment access: CNC ShopBot router Safety: Closed-toe shoes required, hearing and eye protection required and will be available
