Join instructor Michelle in this Safety and Basic Use class, learn to use a laser cutter to cut, etch, and engrave designs in a variety of materials. Work with acrylic, wood, paper, cardboard, leather, etc. Using graphic software like Inkscape, cut intricate designs and engrave highly detailed images at the touch of a button. The sky is the limit with this simple and versatile tool!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you successfully pass this class, you can use this equipment for creating your own projects at the CBI Maker Space as a member during open volunteer hours for a usage fee. Closed toe shoes are required to safely use this equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n
