Join Marcia Hiltabidle as she teaches the safety & basics of our Brother Innov-is 2800D embroidery machine in two easy sessions, held on July 17th& 24th from 1-4 pm CT. This machine offers an oversized color LCD touch screen, a 10 inch x 6 inch embroidery area and precise stitching for all your sewing, quilting, and embroidery projects. Once you successfully complete this class and become a Maker Space member (minimum 1 month membership) you may bring your own materials and use the embroidery machine during Maker Space open hours.

Join instructor Michelle in this Safety and Basic Use class, learn to use a laser cutter to cut, etch, and engrave designs in a variety of materials. Work with acrylic, wood, paper, cardboard, leather, etc. Using graphic software like Inkscape, cut intricate designs and engrave highly detailed images at the touch of a button. The sky is the limit with this simple and versatile tool!

A clinic where beginners can come and learn the free CAD tool named Onshape. Experienced users are welcome as well. The first half is reviewing the basics. The second half is modeling various objects for practice.
