FreeEVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT
NAVAL AVIATION
BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK!!
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to fly a high-performance military jet aircraft or what it’s like to experience a “catapult shot” or how a pilot lands on the deck of an aircraft carrier – in rough seas? – at night? – in bad weather? – or a combination of these phenomena?
Have you ever wondered how the Navy Blue Angels or the Air Force Thunderbirds fly in close formation and perform multiple “awesome” maneuvers without hitting one other?
Are you curious what life on an aircraft carrier is like?
Do you want to see and hold items like a hook-point, a 20 mm shell from the nose cannon of an attack aircraft, a grenade pellet from the interior of a cluster bomb, or the small piece of metal (a “dog-bone”) which alone holds a jet aircraft at full power on the deck of an aircraft carrier during engine run-up prior to launch?
A couple of local ex-Naval Attack Pilots will satisfy these curiosities, and more, and answer any and all of your questions on February 21st from 3:30 until about 5:00 at Cumberland Business Incubator.
