All TN Promise students must have their 8 hours of community service for Fall Semester 2017 completed and submitted by July 1st. If the hours are not completed and submitted, there will be no TN Promise funds for the student.
If you are a TN Promise Mentor, TN Promise student or family member, mark your calendar to attend the 8 Hours of Impact event at Roane State Community College. It is a drop-in event from 3pm to 6pm on April 18th. A number of area non-profit organizations will have information available about opportunities to spend 8 hours of community service working on their projects.
Don’t wait. There is no grace for missing the July 1st deadline. Mentors, meet your mentees at the event to be sure they are learning how their 8 hours can impact our community. Family members – be sure your students attend!
