National Small Business Week is April 30 through May 6 this year. It really gets rolling on Monday, May 1, with the NSBW Awards Luncheon in Washington, D.C., when SBA Administrator Linda McMahon announces SBA’s National Small Business Person of the Year. However, don’t feel left out if you can’t make lunch with Linda. On the following days, live events will be broadcast online. Here’s a listing of those events:

EMT Classes in Crossville!

Roane State Community College is accepting applications for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) classes that will be offered on the Crossville campus this fall.  They have not been offered in Cumberland County for quite some time.  The EMT certificate program is a one semester program.  Applicants to the EMT program will be selected in a cohort of 24 students.  Continue reading

TN Promise Community Service Hours – Please Take Note!

All TN Promise students must have their 8 hours of community service for Fall Semester 2017 completed and submitted by July 1st.  If the hours are not completed and submitted, there will be no TN Promise funds for the student. Continue reading
