Embroidery: Safety & Basic Use (2 session class)

Join Marcia Hiltabidle as she teaches the safety & basics of our Brother Innov-is 2800D embroidery machine in two easy sessions, held on Jan 19 & 26 from 1-4pm CT. This machine offers an oversized color LCD touch screen, a 10 inch x 6 inch embroidery area and precise stitching for all your sewing, quilting, and embroidery projects. Once you successfully complete this class, you may bring your own materials and use the embroidery machine for only $5/day or $20/month during Maker Space open hours.

CBI Maker Space Is Moving Along

The Cumberland Business Incubator Maker Space is almost ready! The laser cutter is vented to the outside, mirrors are aligned, and the cutting has begun! The vinyl cutter has been cutting symbols and signs and will be cutting out our newly developed Maker Space logo next! The 3D printer is working on parts almost every day. Hand tools are in place as are the embroidery sewing machine, miter saw, router, band saw, electronics station…….and more!
